The project included Architectural and Structural Design, as well as Pool and Exterior Design and Landscaping. The scope also covered Cabinetry Design for the kitchen, laundry, mud room, bar, bathrooms, and closets.

The client requested an open-concept floorplan, floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors, and sloping ceilings for the most important areas of the house.

These requirements would demand a steel structural system instead of the standard wood construction system. Our challenge was to work with a wood structural solution that allows us the design, covering their requirements while achieving lower construction costs.

Other features include stucco elevations mixed with a variety of natural stones, and a sloped standing seam metal roof.
